For those of you who don't know. I have decided to learn to play the guitar. I am pretty much teaching myself. I did purchase a course that includes DVD's and music that you can play along with. I was going to borrow a guitar from a friend of mine, but got to thinking I would rather just have my own. I bought a very nice guitar October 20th and started plunking at it. I was skeptical prior to buying it. Was afraid I would spend the money on a guitar and then after a couple weeks give it up. I am happy to report, that has not happened. I play it nearly every night and I think I am progressing well. I can now play about 8 or 9 songs!! I continue to improve and I am happy with the progress thus far. We will see where I go with it. I do enjoy it quite a bit.

P.S. If you are familiar at all with guitars. I bought a Takamine G series. It is awesome.
